PARASOL PROJECT FIRST NETWORK WIDE EVENT (NWE)

From March 25th to 28th, the PARASOL MSCA convened in Bruges, Belgium, offering a vibrant platform for Doctoral researchers (DRs) to exchange research findings and engage in enriching discussions with peers from academia and industry.

The event featured various workshops and trainings, including a session chaired by Dr. Anne Roch’ focusing on the premises of the PARASOL project, particularly emphasizing Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD), with discussions ranging from key performance indicators (KPIs) to the integration of SSbD into individual DR projects.

Additionally, presentations by Prof.em.dr.ir Johan Catrysse on “Shielding Effectiveness Against Electromagnetic Waves” and Prof.Dr Wübbenhorst on “Broadband Dielectric Spectroscopy – a versatile tool for studying dielectric properties, molecular dynamics, and conductivity of polymer materials” added depth to the event.

During this event the DRs also had the opportunity to visit the facilities of KU Leuven, where they got a glimpse at the work conducted at this associated academic partner.
