Dr. ir. Jeanne ter Bogt-van der Waal

The project management of PARASOL is in the hands of Jeanne ter Bogt-van der Waal, project manager with the Research Support Office at the TU/e. She studied Technical Medicine at the University of Twente, after which she pursued a PhD in cardiac electrophysiology at the Amsterdam University Medical Centers. She successfully defended her thesis entitled ‘Noninvasive mapping of repolarization: Validation in healthy and diseased hearts’ in February 2023. She enjoyed the planning and organizational aspects related to the research fascinating, and with being a project manager for the PARASOL project she can focus on that while still contributing to interesting science.
