Prof. dr. Milan Adamek

Prof. dr. Milan Adamek works as a rector at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. He previously worked as a dean at the Faculty of Applied Informatics. He started his scientific career at the University of Olomouc, studying experimental physics, and later transferred to TBU in technical cybernetics. He is currently working on physical mechanisms in electronics. Professor Adamek is the author of dozens of publications and the supervisor of many students of bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral theses.

Prof. Adamek deals with electronic security systems such as cameras and sensors, the physical mechanisms of electronic processes, and protection design.

Prof. dr. Milan Adamek is Member of the Scientific Council of TUB in Zlín, Member of the FBI Scientific Council of the University of Zilina in Zilina, Member of the Faculty Board of the doctoral study program in the field of “Engineering Informatics” at FAI TUB in Zlín, and Member of the Faculty Board of the doctoral study program “Mechanical Engineering” at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering VŠB – TU Ostrava.
